My Interests

I was born and raised on a farm; I'll always be a country girl at heart. When I'm not behind the computer screen, I'm probably outside enjoying nature. I am an avid reader and enojy writing (yes, I have a separate blog for my non-CS, non-professional ramblings). What kind of self-proclaimed nerd would I be if I didn't like video games? I'm more of a nostalgia gamer, with Mario being my favorite series to play. I have recently rekindled my love for playing the oboe. Also, I've been a vegetarian since 2015—no, that doesn't go over well in the country, but hey, if there's no challenge, it's not fun.
